Having a balanced approach to everything
Author: Johnny TanSome of us may not realize this, but we are actually living in a closed system—that is, we cannot create order without creating disorder elsewhere. Living too much to the right or to the left of life’s spectrum will eventually result in an unbalanced and unhealthy lifestyle.
My Progressive and Spiritual mom Elsa Mae, told me that in order to keep a balanced approach toward everything in our life we must use our brain and our heart. This allows us to be simultaneously elegant and goofy, silly and serious, and loving and critical. The trick is to allow ourselves to move naturally and freely throughout the entire spectrum of all possibilities.
