Time is the luxury we all have
Author: Johnny TanHave you ever wondered sometimes that we seemed to always be in a hurry to make a quick decision because we think if we do not, we would simply missed an opportunity of a lifetime. However, when we do make that quick decision, we sometimes find ourselves in a quandary. Perhaps this is a good food for thought…
I will always remember what my Italian foster mom Carol, told me when we first met in the summer of 1980. She said, “Time is a luxury we all have.” It is often said that no time is the right time and any time is the right time.
To have faith that the right thing will come along at the right time and in the right way is an indulgence that we absolutely should make room for in our lives. As we hold on to this belief, it will make passing up situations that are not a good fit for us a lot easier.
