For the last several weeks I have been busy getting my From My Mama’s Kitchen Talk Radio Show (FMMK Talk Radio) up and running as another means for me to bring “Motherly Love” to center stage.

I thought having four of my nine moms on the air with me was a great way to kick off my FMMK Talk Radio Show and a wonderful way to market my book From My Mama’s Kitchen – “food for the soul, recipes for living.”

Well, it worked, in the course of four weeks - my internet blog talk radio show FMMK Talk Radio profile was viewed over 600 times, and over 150 individuals listened to my show.

I find myself getting more and more confident each week being a talk show host and am actually looking forward to every Tuesday mornings from 10 11 am CST to be on the air with my special guests.

I have always been someone who like to venture out and do something new if it good for me and for others – doing this radio show is truly a rewarding experience for me, as I know I am making a positive difference in the lives of my listeners.

Thank you all for listening and for your support in helping me bring Motherly Love to center stage.

Have a wonderful week. :)

Having my Texan Earthly mom on my FMMK Talk Radio show last Tuesday morning was great. She was a natural at being a guest. At seventy-seven years old and still running her company, her enthusiasm and clarity was a dynamic combination for the listeners.

Hosting a talk radio show is new to me. I am having fun and am getting better each week as a host. I am very excited about being able to bring “motherly love” to center stage using the latest in today’s technology – internet talk radio.

For those of you who are hearing about this for the first time, please check it out! You will be impress by the advances made in talk radio on the internet. Please click here (FMMK Talk Radio) to see and hear what the latest buzz is all about. It is the future!

Although planning ahead is very much apart of my daily life, living my life in the “now” has been a wonderful experience I have been enjoying for quite a while. This past weekend was a great example for me living my life in the present moment.

I had the opportunity to do something different with Easter weekend. On Easter Sunday, after attending the 9.30 am Mass, and doing some running around, instead of eating the traditional Easter dinner (Roast Leg of Lamb) I was treated to a delicious home-cooked Korean Barbecue “Kalbi” served with Korean barley rice and eggs custard along with a bottle of Cabernet Sauvignon. – Yummy! This is the icing on the cake as it were!

Life is good – a prefect ending to a busy week, and a wonderful start for a week of possibilities!

Have a wonderful day. :)

I had a great time being the guest on MamasTimeOut Talk Radio Show yesterday afternoon. Patrica Garza the host a mother, wife and business woman was gracious in inviting me to be on her show for the full hour.

MamasTimeOut© is a new support site and social network for moms of All ages and All stages! They feature a weekly mom support call in show on various motherhood/parenting topics, including interviews with special guests! The show airs on Sundays at 2:30pm MST, and the number to call in to participate live on the air is (646) 595-4516.

Apart from having the opportunity to talk about and market my book From My Mama’s Kitchen – “food for the soul, recipes for living” and my own weekly talk radio show FMMK Talk Radio to her listeners, I learned that 90% of the state of Arizona is on Mountain Standard Time rather than Mountain Daylight Savings Time!

Why is this important you ask! Well, I had presumed that all states within the so called Mountain Time Zone would have embraced the time change; I should have known better and should have done my home work. Patty did state it her various emails to me that her show is at 2.30 pm MST. Silly me, I failed to pay attention to the MST. Needless to say I learned my lesson the hard way – as I was an hour early for her show, and ended up sitting in my office on a Sunday afternoon because I did not pay attention to the details.

Of course I did not tell her this when we finally met on the air at the correct time of 2.30 MST, because I did now want to embarrassed myself to the veteran talk show host! :)   But in reality, the delay actually helped me to be more prepared for her show, and it also gave me the extra time to prepare for my upcoming FMMK Talk Radio show, which airs every Tuesday mornings from 10 – 11 am CST or in this case CDT (LOL!)

This week’s guest is my Texan Earthly mom, Terese Rose, and the topic we will be discussing is Planning for Our Future Successes. Accredited to five of the 30 recipes for living in my book, Terese is 76 years old, and still runs her employment agency in Houston, Texas.

I hope all of you will join us tomorrow morning, and please 347.327.9995 to chat with us live on the air!

Finally, I am excited  about adding a new page (Recommended Resources) to my blog site. I believe this page will be beneficial  for everyone  who are seeking support, and social and networking information. It is also another way of  helping to bring motherly love to center stage!

Have a wonderful day. :)
