Whether or not we are ready for it, as of March 20th Spring is here! I have been busy for the last week getting caught up with this new energy for 2009.

From the very first day itself, I have experienced a new beginning. My good friend Kathleen Tucci, helped me put a video together, which you can view on “Buy My Book“ page. This video has also been posted on my other websites to promote my book as a perfect “Mother’s Day” gift for the up coming Mother’s Day celebration.

On Tuesday March 24th, my Cajun mom, Ginger White from Baton Rouge, Louisiana was on the air with me on my new From My Mama’s Kitchen Talk Radio Show (FMMK Talk Radio). Despite a little technical glitch that lasted for about 15 minutes, we both managed to have a great time being on the air.

On Friday March 27th, thanks to a new found friend from blogtalkradio, Amy, I now have a better grasps for my twitter account, and have already build up quite a following for myself and for my FMMK Talk Radio Show, which airs every Tuesday morning from 10 – 11 am CST.

FYI: This talk show has a platform that honors moms everywhere for their spiritual and inspirational contribution in making a positive difference in the lives of their loved ones.

Please call 347.327.9995 any time during the show to talk with me on the air, and to share your “motherly love” stories with other listeners. Tomorrow’s guest is my 91 year old Progressive and Spiritual mom from Hammond, Louisiana – Elsa Mae Stevens.

Then thanks to my friend Joseph, I finally got my website: www.frommymamaskitchen.com completed. Whether it is still a work in progress or not, I am very happy with it now as all the functionality features are finally working as they were intended.

Wow! It feels great to finally having a chance to blog again. After months of working behind the scene, getting my new book, From My Mama’s Kitchen – “food for the soul, recipes for living” completed and published, now it is time to market it.

Thanks to my success team members we managed to get a few book signings done within the last couple of months, and a few more scheduled in the months ahead.

Writing this book has been a humbling experience for me, as it brought to mind many wonderful memories of heartfelt moments I have shared with my various moms that somehow were taken for granted.

Although the purpose of writing this book is to honor my nine moms for their spiritual and inspirational contribution in making a positive difference in my life, I also wanted it to be an entertaining, inspiring, and educational book for the readers.

When Teresa, my publicist, suggested that we make it into a keepsake book, I thought it was a brilliant idea. My marketing director, Kel, agreed. Collectively we came up with a wonderful design concept that I believe is a winner.

Designed as a wonderful keepsake book and meant to last forever, it includes a blank dedication page for you to personalize it. There is also a space for you to write the various recipes for living you wish to record for all time, and for those of you who love to cook, I have included nine food recipes from my various moms as icing on the cake.

I am also proud to announce that my book has the endorsement of Linda Lisi Juergens, the Executive Director, for the National Association of Mothers’ Centers.

As part of my vision and mission to get Motherly Love to center stage, I started an internet From My Mama’s Kitchen Talk Radio Show (FMMK Talk Radio) which air every Tuesday morning at 10.00 am CST. This hour long talk show has a platform for everyone to share their own experiences of “motherly love” on the air with other listeners.

For the next several weeks I will be having my various moms as guests. My Cajun mom will be joining me tomorrow morning, then my Progressive and Spiritual mom on March 31st, followed by my Texan Earthly mom on April 7th.  You can also participate in this live broadcast by calling 347.327.9995.
